About Me

ME circa 1982

I was a cute little kid, wasn’t I!  I grew up in a happy life.  It wasn’t perfect, but there was happiness to focus on.  My family moved a lot, and I enjoyed seeing new places and making new friends. I wasn’t particularly amazing at anything … except for being ME!   I had some very cool experiences in my childhood (Taj Mahal or Great Wall anyone?!), and I will always be grateful for those.

I met my handsome best friend in college – Ricks College, before it became “BYU-IDAHO”.

I’ve been married to my (still-handsome) best friend for 17 years, and we have 4 monkeys children who are 16, 14, 12, and 6.  Our family loves animals – we have two bernese mountain dogs, a rag doll kitty, and intermittent guests brought home by my family, such as frogs, turtles, and snakes.

I love photography, babies, sunflowers, chocolate, crafts, a good book, and my husband & kids!   I’ve been a NICU mama 3 times.  I’ve had Post-Partum Depression after 3 of my pregnancies, and now deal with chronic depression and anxiety.  I’ve learned a lot about mental health over the years, and am happy that with the excellent help, love, and advocating from my doctors, family, and friends, my tunnel through life is dappled with rays of sunlight breaking through the darkness.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and know that Jesus Christ is my Savior.  I know that I am a daughter of our Heavenly Father, who loves me dearly.  I am an imperfect soul, trusting a perfect God, and the depending on the grace of Jesus Christ to help me through the chaos of life.

I’m a busy mom, running my own little 4 ring circus  while still remembering to find moments to sit back and watch the blessed entertainment that surrounds me!

Now that you’ve met ME – welcome to my blog!  Grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the circus!
